This site is located along Cullaby Creek which is the upper reach of the Skipanon River system and Cullaby Lake. The water is generally slow moving with a lot of aquatic vegetative growth. This reach is located near rural residential use, downstream of working forest land.

Our 2019 data demonstrates how hot surface waters can get in slow-moving waters without much shade.
