Now is a great time to dig into your yard and plant seeds for pollinators that will bloom in the spring. We’ve been hard at work in Warrenton this year along the Waterfront Trail prepping areas that were overrun with invasive plants to receive new, native plant inhabitants this fall/winter. If you want to learn about what we’re doing along the Warrenton Waterfront Trail, how to help the Skipanon, or other things the NCWA is up to, come to our River Council Meeting!
Our council meetings are a time for the NCWA and our communities to share with one another about ecological issues, habitat projects, and other insights into the watersheds’ needs. If you’re curious about local water quality, salmon populations, or pollinators these meetings are a great space to get to know more about local ecologies.
No registration or membership is required, these are informal meetings for connecting with community.
