nnf klaskanine above hatchery

This site is located on the North North Fork Klaskanine River off of Hwy 202 just upstream of where it connects to the North Fork Klaskanine. This reach is situated above the Klaskanine Fish Hatchery’s fresh water intake dam. This dam on the NNF Klaskanine was modified in 2022 by the NCWA and partners—a roughened channel was installed to allow for fish passage above the dam. The lower dam of the Klaskanine Fish Hatchery is scheduled to be modified for fish passage reasons as well in 2026.
